Filipe Duarte Santos is a Full Professor of Physics, Geophysics and Environment at the University of Lisbon. He has a vast curriculum, including a strong work of research in the area of environmental sciences and in particular on climate change. He is Director of the PhD programme on climate change and sustainable development policies involving the University of Lisbon and the NOVA University of Lisbon.
He has been a visiting professor at numerous prestigious Universities worldwide, has held several relevant positions in national and international organizations and is, since 2017, President of the National Council for Environment and Sustainable Development (CNADS).
